Lave is a London-based studio designing made-to-order bathroom vanity units and sintered stone basins. We work with clients across London and the UK — every piece is built to your exact dimensions and delivered directly to your home or site.
Design Your Basin Studio in Islington, N1 · Not open to the public · All consultations by appointment or emailLave was founded to do one thing well: design bathroom vanity units that fit the space precisely, rather than asking the space to accommodate a standard size. Our studio is registered in Islington, N1, where our sales and design team works — though we are not a showroom and do not operate walk-in appointments. All client work happens remotely or by arranged consultation.
Most of our London projects are in apartments and houses where the bathroom has an unusual width, an awkward alcove, or simply a level of finish that off-the-shelf units cannot meet. We design to the millimetre — custom widths from 700mm to 2400mm, bowl position, wood finish, storage layout, and edge profile — and manufacture each piece to order.
Lead time is typically 6–10 weeks from sign-off. We deliver across London and the wider UK, and can coordinate with your joiner, contractor, or fit-out team directly.

Every vanity unit is made to order. There are no standard sizes — you specify the dimensions that work for your bathroom, and we build to them.
London bathrooms — particularly in period conversions, Victorian terraces, and modern high-spec apartments — tend to be used hard. The basin is in daily use, often by multiple people. Sintered stone is the right material for that context: non-porous so it does not stain, harder than ceramic so it does not scratch or craze, and maintenance-free over its lifetime.
At wider spans — 1400mm, 1800mm, 2400mm double basins — sintered stone is the only material that allows a single continuous surface without visible joins. For a bathroom that has been designed carefully, that matters.
Every Lave basin is integrated into the vanity unit rather than sitting on top of it. The surface runs from edge to edge, with no upstand or lip. It is easier to clean, looks better, and holds up longer.

2. We send a fixed quote. No ambiguity — a single price that covers design, manufacture, and delivery to your address in London or elsewhere in the UK.
3. We build it. Manufacturing typically takes 6–10 weeks from sign-off. We keep you informed throughout.
4. We deliver. Your vanity unit arrives packaged and ready for installation by your contractor or joiner. We can coordinate delivery timing to suit your project schedule.
